About Me

Hi <3 I’ve been writing since I was a teenager. It started with poetry and short stories and became my way of putting feelings into words.

Awhile ago, this story came to me and I couldn’t ignore it. There are pieces of me woven into it, and once it took hold, my mind wouldn’t let it go until I told it. I wasn't even sure I was ever going to publish it! I spent countless late nights typing away. I edited, deleted, retyped, edited some more, and at some point along the way I felt ready to share it publicly.

I don't expect to become rich or famous, although I won't complain if that happens. (lol) I write in hopes that even one person will read my work and feel something or see themselves in the characters.

With a Broken Wing is my debut novel, and it will always stay close to my heart.

The journey of writing and marketing this book has been something I never expected. It’s been overwhelming at times, exciting in others, and through it all I’ve met so many incredible people. The friendships and connections I’ve made along the way might be the best part yet.

I’m currently working on the second book in the duet series, and it might be even more heartbreaking than the first...Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I’m also a mom of four, so when I’m not in Mom mode, I’m usually writing, reading, playing video games, or watching trash TV to unwind.
